Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Responsible Entity

The entity responsible for the processing of personal data on the joblie.li platform is:

Domenig Personalmanagement GmbH, Fürst-Franz-Josefstrasse 6, FL-9490 Vaduz, Fürstentum Liechtenstein. Email: datenschutz@joblie.li

2. Scope

This privacy policy informs you about the collection, processing, storage and use of personal data in connection with the use of the joblie.li platform and all associated services.

Processing is carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act of the Principality of Liechtenstein (DSG) and other applicable data protection regulations.

3. What Data We Collect

We process personal data that you provide to us directly or indirectly. This includes in particular:

  • Applicants: first and last name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, professional background, qualifications and education, language skills, salary expectations, desired type of employment, information on work permit or residence status, CV, references and certificates, application documents, profile pictures (if uploaded).
  • Employers and companies: company name, contact person, contact details, billing information, job advertisements and company profiles including logo, image gallery and presentation video, as well as documents for verifying the company.
  • Account and usage data: selected role (applicant, employer, recruitment agency), saved jobs, application history, messages exchanged via the platform, and the status of your visibility in the talent pool.
  • Technical data when visiting the website: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, pages visited, referrer URL, device information.

4. Purposes of Data Processing

We process personal data in particular for the following purposes: operating and providing joblie.li, registering and managing user accounts, publishing and managing job advertisements, matching employers and applicants including visibility in the talent pool with corresponding consent, processing applications, enabling contact and communication between users (e.g. platform-internal messages or contact via WhatsApp), customer service and support, invoicing and payment processing, improving our services, ensuring IT security, fulfilling legal obligations, direct marketing and newsletter distribution (where permitted).

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Processing is based in particular on your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, legal obligations, and the legitimate interests of our company.

Our legitimate interests include in particular the secure provision of our platform, the further development of our services, and the prevention of misuse.

6. Applicant Profiles, Application Documents and Talent Pool

If you create a profile as an applicant or upload application documents, this data is stored and made accessible to the employers or companies you select. In principle, you decide for yourself which information you publish or submit as part of an application.

Application documents are used exclusively for the purposes of job placement and the application process.

An application is also possible as a guest without a user account. In addition, you can make your profile visible to verified employers in the talent pool through explicit, revocable consent; without this consent, your profile cannot be found there.

7. Employer Accounts

Employers can publish job advertisements and receive applications via joblie.li.

Employers can optionally enable receiving application files additionally by email. In that case, the CV and other uploaded documents are transmitted to the respective employer as attachments or – for large files – as a time-limited download link via our email service provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS). This option is disabled by default and applies only to applications submitted via joblie.li.

The applicant data transmitted may be used exclusively for recruitment purposes. Employers are themselves responsible for the data protection-compliant processing of the data transmitted to them.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies — in particular for the technical provision of the website, for security, for usability, for statistical analysis and for marketing purposes. For details on the cookies used, their purpose and storage period, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

You can restrict or disable the storage of cookies via your browser settings; this may impair individual functions of the website.

9. Analytics and Statistics Services

To analyse the use of our website, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.). These services help us to evaluate visitor numbers, optimise functions, improve content and detect technical errors. Collection is largely anonymised and without cross-site profiling.

In addition – and only with your consent given via the cookie banner (category 'Statistics') – we use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Microsoft Corporation (USA). Clarity evaluates how visitors use our pages (such as clicks, scrolling behaviour, heatmaps and anonymised session replays) and sets cookies for this purpose (including _clck and _clsk). Input into form fields is masked. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, of which Microsoft is a member. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time with future effect via the cookie settings. More information: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement

Likewise – and only with your consent given via the cookie banner (category 'Statistics') – we use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) and Google LLC (USA). Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors find and use our website (such as traffic sources, pages viewed, time on page and interactions) and sets cookies for this purpose (including _ga and _ga_*). IP addresses are used only temporarily to derive approximate location and are not permanently stored by Google Analytics 4. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, of which Google is a member. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time with future effect via the cookie settings. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Where necessary, we obtain your consent before using such services.

To evaluate the channels through which applications reach our platform (such as Google Ads, organic search, job portals or direct visits), we use our own first-party cookie (joblie_attr) that we set ourselves. It stores only channel signals from your first page visit (campaign parameters of the address you accessed, Google click identifiers and the referring website), but no cross-site identifiers and no personal content. This information is only linked to a specific application or registration when you actively apply or register, and serves us and the respective employer solely to understand where the application or registration came from. The cookie is deleted after 90 days; it is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our reach (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

10. Newsletter and Marketing

If you have consented to receiving information or there is a legal basis, we may send you information about job offers, services, events and news by email, telephone or post. We use the service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) to send emails.

You can object to receiving such communications at any time.

11. Disclosure of Data

Personal data is only disclosed where this is necessary or required by law. Recipients may in particular be:

  • Employers and companies to which you apply or which you contact in the talent pool;
  • IT and hosting service providers: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage, server location Zurich/Switzerland) and Vercel Inc. (hosting and delivery of the website);
  • Email service provider: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS);
  • Map service: Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) to display locations on company profiles;
  • Payment service providers in connection with paid services;
  • Authorities and courts as well as external advisers, where required by law.

All service providers are carefully selected and, where necessary, contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations (data processing agreement).

12. Data Transfer Abroad

Data processing primarily takes place in Switzerland (database server location Zurich), in Liechtenstein and within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where individual service providers process data in third countries — such as the USA — we ensure that appropriate safeguards exist in accordance with the GDPR, for example through adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

13. Storage Period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as long as statutory retention obligations exist.

Applications submitted as a guest without a user account are automatically deleted no later than six months after receipt. Data of a user account is stored until the account is deleted. After the retention period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised.

14. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

Our security measures are reviewed regularly and adapted to technical developments.

15. Rights of Data Subjects

You have in particular the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent given, objection to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, you can contact us at any time.

16. Right to Complain

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law, you can contact the competent data protection supervisory authority:

Datenschutzstelle Fürstentum Liechtenstein, Kirchstrasse 8, Postfach 684, FL-9490 Vaduz, T +423 236 60 90, Email info.dss@llv.li

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time if legal, technical or organisational changes make this necessary. The current version is available at joblie.li.
